  1. I enjoyed watching you quick hand the bird. Pretty low res. Probably should be two separate videos.

I absolutely love the site’s design. keep it up.

    1. Thank you Khazaad,
It’s a work in progress and I’m glad you like it.
Charles’ vimeo account does not allow me to embed the video’s in HD.

They can be watched in HD on vimeo.

      Kind regards,

      Patrick

  2. Great tutorial! I have yet to actually try this yet, which is leads me to my question now… I would like to consider myself an expert when it comes to using Photoshop, along with Illustrator and InDesign. I am looking to get started in some basic animation, stuff that I could add to my designs just to give them a little extra flair. Not knowing how far I will eventually want to go with it, would you recommend I use Photoshop to do this since I have such a great understanding of the program already? Or would it be worth learning to do it in Flash? I have Flash, but rarely use it. I took a basic class in college about 3 years ago, but I am sure I’ve forgotten most of what I learned. Just looking for some advice, thanks!

    1. It depends… Flash is made for animation there fore I see a lot of animators starting a project in Flash and use Photoshop to alter the vector look to something with a little bit more heart. If you don’t mind doing all the work you can work frame by frame in photoshop and use the design tools you’re familiar with. But animating in Photoshop can be a struggle because you’re the one who has to design every fame…

      1. Hmm very true. Sounds like it just depends on how much work I’m wanting to put into this and how complex I want my animations to be. . . . I think I will initially start with Photoshop and just feel things out at this point. Thanks for the advice! I will definitely take a further look at the other tutorials on here!
